Now Hacking: Enabling 802.11n On The HTC HD2

Thanks to those wonderful guys over at XDA-Developers.com, you can enable wireless N on your new HD2.

Apparently, the HD2 already has a 802.11n chip in it, but for reasons unknown to us, it was disabled by default.

The fix is simple, find the registry key HKLM/Comm/BCMSDDHD1/Parms/11nModeDisable and change it from 1 to 0. Voila! Wireless N on your HD2. Rumours are that it also increases your cellular data speed.
