Well it looks like someone made a bit of a cock-up in revealing Windows 8’s projected release date. Steven Sinofsky may not be talking about Microsoft’s future Windows plans, but the Windows Server team appears to see more value in letting customers know its road map. According to the offending slide, codename Windows 8 is projected for release sometime in the year 2012 – could this be what causes the forewarned apocalypse?
